Five Pillars is a boutique financial planning company specialising in wealth management for people who have a household income of at least $150,000 p.a.
Our experience tells us that often it is the structures and strategies that we adopt in our clients’ financial plans that generate the biggest improvement in their financial situation. How an investment is owned and how it is funded can improve income, reduce tax and increase assets substantially.
We have particular expertise in identifying the most effective structure and strategy to achieve these results, tailored to the unique circumstances of each client.
We are not owned by a financial institution
Unlike the majority of financial planning practices in Australia, Five Pillars is not owned by a financial institution. This means:
1. A financial institution does not tell us which products we can recommend. We can therefore research investment options drawn from throughout the market, and make our recommendation based on those that are in our clients’ interest to acquire.
2. We determine the type of services we supply to our clients based on what our clients want and need, not what the financial institution wants us to provide.
3. We are able to access little-known boutique investment products that many institutionally owned financial planners can’t.
4. Since we experience very low staff turnover, you are likely to receive ongoing care from an adviser who knows you well, and who is completely familiar with your circumstances and goals.
5. When dealing with us you deal with people who make the decisions in our practice. We do not have a complex managerial hierarchy and so we can respond quickly to your requests or feedback.
